Most of the rooms were up another rather steep flight of stairs, meaning we must carry our suitcases up 2 flights and go down one flight to shower. (There were plenty of shared toilets but no sink in the room.)
We made it through with the kind help of staff and fellow guests. But as seniors we would not come again.

I want to start by saying that the breakfast is NOT free. We have to pay €16 per adult.
This guesthouse is located about three 3) minutes drive... read more from gas stations, restaurants, grocery and souvenir shops. We reserved a room for three (3) and the accommodation was comfortable enough. The room is clean, the sheets are freshly laundered, and the beds are comfortable. You will have to share the small kitchen, bathroom and the toilet with other guests. My family was not bothered by this because we only stayed for one (1) night. The shared set-up is something one may consider if you don’t like to share your space.
I’m not sure how many rooms for guests there are in the building. The hallways are narrow. If you are concerned about physical distancing, a shoulder-to-shoulder situation may sometimes be unavoidable.
There is a nice breakfast room in a black glass building that overlooks the town. Note that the information they have about breakfast in TripAdvisor is not correct. You will have to pay extra for the breakfast.
Overall, I would recommend Carina for those active and on-the-go individuals. There is no elevator in the 2-story (with basement) building and as I have mentioned, the passage ways including the staircases are narrow. More

It is also within walking distance to Sudir Vik Restaurant and zip-lining and paragliding with True Adventure...all of which were great!

We did have to leave our room to use to use the two communal bathrooms on each floor, but they were always available and very clean so it was not a big deal.
A lovely modern extension to the original building was added as a large eating and gathering space. The glass walls allowed for additional lovely views. The included breakfast was delicious and had a large variety of food offerings.
The staff is amazing too! Although I did not have the pleasure of meeting her in person, Carina was extremely kind and accommodating throughout the process... as I had to book on two separate occasions because my original trip had fallen through due to a passport expiration. The housekeeper was very friendly and hard working. Finally, I’d like to give a special recognition to Darek, who kindly volunteered to make us a delicious “to go” bagged lunch when he learned we had to leave before breakfast time.
You cannot go wrong with Guesthouse Carina and you will want to secure your booking early because it is very popular!
